TEMPERATURE & HUMIDITY:  Normal room temperature and moderate humidity will help these plants do their best.  Do not let the temperature fall below 13 degrees in Winter.

SIZE:  The species can grow up to 1.2 m in width and height.

PROBLEMS:  If grown outside snail and slugs may be a problem, but when grown inside they are relatively pest-free.

SPECIAL CARE:  Once fronds are mature enough, wipe regularly with a damp cloth to remove dust.  Old fronds can be removed at the base of the plant when they start turning a yellowish-green.  If roots become pot bound re-pot in Spring.  Once re-potted immerse the plant in water for half an hour then lift the plant and drain properly.
