Boston Fern

LIGHT:  Prefers very bright light but no direct sunlight. 

WATERING:  Boston Ferns will continue to grow during Winter so keep the soil thoroughly moist all year round, but not saturated.  Below 10 degrees, allow to dry out slightly.  Water from the roots. 

NUTRIENT:  Feed with slow-release fertilizers or any liquid plant food during the growing season only, which is in the warmer months of the year. 

TEMPERATURE & HUMIDITY:  Moderate to high humidity with good ventilation.  Avoid letting the temperature drop below 10 degrees celsius. 

SIZE:  Best grown in hanging baskets as fronds can grow from 50 cm upwards and hang towards the ground.
